I had my 06 Ridgeline at the dealer recently to replace the ignition switch which had gone bad. To do the job they had to do pretty major "surgery" with the steering wheel and steering column apart. After the repair, I am fairly certain that my horn is not operating correctly. When I press in the upper center area of the steering wheel pad where the Honda emblem is, the horn does not operate. If I press around the perimeter or low center it works fine. Before I complain about yet another botched dealer repair I wanted to get some confirmation from the forum about normal horn operation. Does yours have this "dead spot" or am I correct in thinking that they screwed up mine?

It should sound when you press the center of the airbag.
They probably have something misaligned when they put it back together. Just take it back and ask the service adviser to have the mechanic take another look at it.
