How about just installing a separate cooler for the transmission? It would most likely work much better and you would never worry about the coolant mixing with the transmission again...
I don't remember specifically anyone doing this, I do remember a member adding a Power Steering Cooler to an Acura MDX, IIRC but it could have some additional information for you. When considering this you may want to read up on this thread by member @OhSix he monitored temps throughout the transmission circuit. Unfortunately he's not been available lately but the data is still relevant.still nothing on an actual replacement for the oem aux cooler?
That should work nicely. I would not bypass the stock one though just use the stock line into the aftermarket one then go back into the stock one. although I am Not sure if it would work better on feed side or return side...https://www.summitracing.com/parts/...Kl83dX9XkujQ-MVpo5oeFBKLVgpVMNXcaAvVwEALw_wcB
