Going to be installing a double din stereo and have no idea as to how this dash comes apart. can someone give me some insight before i break something expensive.

Have to do something with cover on steering column first then pull the trim piece off the instrument panel. Then you can get to the screws on the middle piece that covers the radio.

If you tilt the steering column all the way down the dash should clear it without any problem, at least on the 2006 interiors. I can't speak for the newer designs. I never had a problem taking my dash out.

As far as easy removal, to the right of the steering column is a small notch. You can use a small flathead to get it popped loose and then gently run your hands around the rest of it. Once it's loose, just blindly reach behind and disconnect all the wire harnesses.
