How to tell difference between tpms sensors

I just bought some replacement rims foe ones that were damaged on my 2010. I had steel rims and replacing with the same. I am not sure the year that the replacements came from but they have sensors. Is there a way to tell what year the sensors are from? I think I read 06-08 were one style and 09 up were different
