HVAC Blower Speed

Seems like my low fan speed is rather high when in auto mode but goes silent if I lower it manually. But maybe I'm deaf. I kinda like the white noise, though since its pretty quiet in the cabin without the fan i might start hearing all the interior rattles and engine knocks that some other people have talked about hahahaha.

It's not the noise so much as the speed. When it's on the lowest setting, it always seems as if it is too high.

The fan running is enough to drown out the music.

By far, the HVAC fan control/noise is the worst part of the car.

I tend to operate the HVAC manually because of the terrible racket created by the fan. It is truely a Mickey Mouse implementation.

You sure it's not broken ? Mine is not loud at all unless it's on the highest setting (or running in auto mode and it's trying to cool/heat). On the low fan settings it's not audible at all.

I think the fan is fairly quiet at low speeds...it's just that the auto climate control defaults it to a higher fan speed than what I would normally set it at...I manually set it either to the first to third speed whereas the auto might keep it at four or five and that's too much to be at that the whole time...I don't know why it doesn't turn itself down to a lower speed as the temperature gets to where it's set.

My fan is extremely quiet except at the higher speeds, but compared to other vehicles I've owned -- even Gen1 Ridgeline -- the low speed seems very high.
