this just happened, again.
Get in the car and start driving, and realize the AC isn't working.

The display is on, and the controls respond, but the fan is not on.
In the past, I think turning the car off and coming back in a later time and the fan works.
I pulled over and turn the car off and restart it multiple times with no joy.
Roll down the windows after giving up and within a quarter-mile the blower started again and now all is fine.
Any ideas?

Sounds like a bad blower motor. The armatur? or whatever probably has a dead spot in the connection.

I'd vote for a dodgy relay before I think the whole blower motor. It's a lot cheaper

Suggest you go on Honda Owners Link to see if your RL is up for the blower motor recall.

Mine was just outside the recall but it was the same problem, the wiring harness. Replaced and no more issues with motor.
