Hello Forum
I recently rejoined this forum and want to say 'Hello from West Virginia'. I have a deal written and papers approved on a new 2017 RTL-T. I would be stepping out of a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71. I'm in my mid 60s and am attracted to the Ridgeline for several reasons, but largely, it should be easier to get in and out of :) as well as around town maneuverability and park-ability. I had to go to the RTL-T trim level specifically to get access to XM radio (I LOVE the Blues). I know it can be added with aftermarket setups, but not what I wanted. If I pull the trigger today, I expect I'll be spending a lot of time here collecting from this body of knowledge.

Sounds good to me (I just turned 57 so I know about the getting in and out part). Are you trading in the Sierra ? The Honda dealer by me just laughed when I talked about a trade in on the Escape. Wanted to give me $5k for a 2012 XLT AWD. I sold it for $8k to a neighbor who was thrilled to get it at that price.

added : Escape had 116k on it.

How many miles on the escape? I traded my 2012 Nissan Juke SL, with 33100 miles and really worn tires for $12000 in SW Ohio to the dealer.

Actually am trading the Sierra in. Gave me a fair trade in value. Plus this dealer is a 2 hour drive away (only place I could find an RTL-T) and he's driving it in to me as I write this response. Given that my truck is as I represented it and their deal and truck are as I expect, we'll do the paper work this afternoon.
