This was the "J.D. Power 2005 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) Study" that rates vehicle owners satisfaction in the first 90 days of ownership. I'm a JD Power, PowerPanel member (not sure if I'm supposed to say that or not, but what the heck).
"The Honda Ridgeline was the most-liked midsized pickup" was the bottom line in the midsize pickup category. Second place went to the Chevy SSR, and third to the Nissan Frontier.
Love all of the great press about the Ridgeline (other than Edmunds less-then-glowing long-term test report). Hopefully we'll start seeing more of them on the road once the big-3's seemingly never-ending "employee discount" program peters out (until they bring it back to unload their leftover '06's next year).
