*** All of these photos make the tint a tiny bit darker than it is really. Stupid camera

My Ridgeline and Civic when a bit cloudy, plus teh color is a bit off... weird

In the shade

In the shade, you can see a little triangle that is seeing through the passenger door so you are looking through two times 20%. Not the greatest photo, sorry.

The new 2-door civic really looks sharp; unless of course you get the low-end model with those plastic hub caps...uggh!

Yours looks very neat with the mags and all. Tell me, have you de-badged your civic or does it come like that?

This is the LX and comes standard with the wheel covers, that's why I worked the EX wheels into the deal. I did it pretty smoothly too! Got my add-ons for ~$500 (EX wheels, cargo net, leather steering wheel, mudguards) The wheels alone cost ~$900+.

I took the Civic badge off myself, it came off REALLY easily, maybe too easily. Like they knew I was going to take it off anyway. There was only one badge to remove anyway, on the trunk

No doubt. I feel like I won this time around with dealerships! It definitely pays to shop around for the bottom line. The "other" Honda lot in town (boo-hiss) did not try to be competitive even though I showed them my other deal. Like I won't wait to save ~$900... I obviously did. I think I originally got more respect when I first drove up in the Ridge. :) ... which I did on purpose, to let them know I am a true buyer, I think it helped with my deal.

I may do a thin civic door sill in black but other than that, I am happy with it.

Keith, now you've got us all worried that you'll abandon the Ridgeline for your new Civic!

I duuuuunnno, the Civic is a LOT of FUN. :) It is my daily driver as I get 30+ mpg (city) plus with the manual tranny, it makes driving around town so much more fun. If I had to only have one ride, my RL wins hands down.

Re: LOTS of Photos of my 2007 Honda Civic LX coupe

***** 2 month update *****
  • ~4100 miles
  • getting ready for the first oil change.
  • Best gas mileage (37 mpg all highway @ 80 mph)
  • Worst gas mileage (30 mpg all city)

Problems to date:

1) right rear shock was replaced. It developed a rattle/clunking/loose sound.
2) The mp3 player sometimes "forgets" where it is and will start at the beginning of the mp3 CD. Honda dealership has no answers at this point.

I took it on a 1400 mile round trip over a long weekend at Thanksgiving, no troubles at all. I was surprised how well the seats held me. I had plenty of energy after 8.5 hrs. in the saddle and I am 6', 215 lbs.

I highly recommend the Civic. :) (ok Honda, now pay up!)

They really are awsome cars Keith. We took our son's Si to Las Vegas. About a four to five hour drive in around three and a half hours. "His little 6 speed hauls the mail" The really neat thing is once we got to the Casino, I felt that I could have turned around and drivin it back home

I think that's real sharp, Keith. My daughter has a red EX just like it and I love driving that car. I'm 6 feet tall and a heavy guy and it's got an amazing amount of room for me and what a ride!!
