Hey all,
I replaced all of my interior and exterior small lights with LED bulbs. Everything went well and the process was quite easy, but not a single one of my bed lights came on after replacement.
I checked the polarity, switched around some bulbs, nothing. I then found the corresponding interior-panel fuse for the bed lights blown.

Any ideas on what may have caused this fuse to blow? Or rather, how I can fix the issue? It is a 7.5 amp fuse that was blown, btw.

So just an update: I inspected each of the wires and LEDs in the bed without finding any kind of nick, cut, crimp, nothing. I replaced the 7.5amp fuse and it blew immediately.
I tried testing the fuse socket with my voltmeter but was unable to get the leads into that tight space.
My workmate, who is much more electric savvy than I am, has suggested a special lead that is made to plug into a fuse socket and to a voltmeter. So, I guess I will try that next as I can't think of anything else to do.

Culprit found.

Whatever is wrong with this LED is what caused the short. I did what a few of you suggested and a another blown 7.5A fuse later I had it narrowed down. Easy as pie!

Thanks so much for the help. I'll get a pic of all of the lights on tonight. The bottom bed lights are the reverse LEDs, since those don't work worth a crap for actually reversing.

Glad you got yours figured out,

Heres the RL lit up.

Again, the bottom bed lights were supposed to be for the reverse lights, but they are terrible for that purpose. Though, they are awesome for bed lights!

If anyone cares or has any experience, I haven't received any replies in my thread about good reverse lights The Best Reverse Light LEDs? and would love some ideas.

Cheers
