Has anyone else had any problems getting the screws out of the light covers in the bed? The Phillips screw driver just turns, nothing happens. Striped?! The truck is brand new. I thought i would see about replacing bulbs with LED's were I could.

Anyone help me with removing the tail light lense cover?

I have the screws out and trying to pull in straight out toward the rear of the truck rather than to the side and it will not release.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, Brad

You have to pull straight back, there are two rubber groumets that hold the assy.
Wiggle from top and bottom with increasing pressure, it will come out. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much for posting this info, Keith. My '08 RTL is only 10 weeks old, but one of these days, I'll need to replace a bulb or two. Got this link in my "Farorites." Much appreciated!

Thanks for the help. I reread your post and just applied a little more force with one of my KTC removal tools and it came out fine.

Will thse bulbs fit an 08?

And what color do these shine?

Are there photos of these lights?

Thanks for the reply...

Does the front/backsignal lamps/brake/ look different compared to stock lights?

Or are these just replacement bulbs when they go out?

Those listed are the replacement bulbs numbers. Now you can get LED equivalents which can be brighter.

Here is my ex-'07 Civic, just depends on if you like the look. I put these same LED bulbs in my ex-'06 Ridge, then transferred them to my 'ex-'08 Accord. It was a hassle getting them in/out of the Accord, so I left them there when I got rid of it.

rakapur,
If you mean the bulbs for the map lights over the rear view mirror, they are a DE3175 or, as it is also called, a 3022.

Where is everyone buying there LED from?

I found this site www.superbrightleds.com But its a bit of a pain choosing the right bulb. There are like 10 choices for a simple 194/168 bulb. Based on the amount of LED, the viewing angle, etc.

Seems kinda confusing.
