Anyone have info on the HID's vs the PIAA bulbs? Are the HID's worth the $$$? I could not find any "hits" when I did a HID search. Seems like there is good support for the PIAA's on this site. I have not found any feedback on the HID kits. Are they worth the money?

The HID's are dims only, no high-beams AFAIK and cost a lot more. Anyone know how these compare to Silver-Stars besides costing twice as much?

I have the Sylvania Silver Stars in my Ridgeline. I had them in my previous Accord also. They are not as bright as HID, but they are definitely brighter and much more white than the stock bulbs.

To me the stock bulbs seem weak and somewhat yellow. There is nothing like factory HIDs - I had an S2000 and those headlights are excellent.

I had SilverStars in my MB and really liked them-just haven't gotten around to getting them yet for the RL. And I may go to the Osram Silverstars-they're supposed to be better than the Sylvania (I know-it's the same company). You can only get them in Europe though. I know a few people who have ordered for their Hondas from here:

I have PIAAs and have in my last 3 vehicles. Compared to Silverstars they are "whiter" in my opinion.
