Maintenance Minder Reset Mistake

I recently topped 10k miles and got my first maintenance minder alert. I'd been regularly monitoring my declining oil-life level from 20% down to 5% and Maintenance Due Now showed up right when it should, so I changed my oil and then got confused why the warning wouldn't go away. I'd read that the warning should go away on its own but that if it didn't you could make it go away manually, so I reset the message by holding the reset button. Then I continued to read and learned that the A1346 code (the problem is that I can't remember it exactly...) included characters indicating that I need more than an oil change. Now that I've cleared the code, the dealership says there's no way to know what it said or what still needs to be done.

:crying:

Is it true that data is gone forever and I'll never know for sure what it said? If so, does a list exist of common maintenance items at certain intervals or am I entirely dependent on the automated system, which I seem to have borked?

I really want to treat my baby right but I'd prefer to without unnecessarily premature maintenance based on ignorant paranoia...

Thanks, very much, in advance.

You should be OK. You can download the Maintenance Minder info at the following link...

Therein lies a weak point of the automated MM system. No recall of prior info. The system assumes that you've performed all the called out maintenance when you clear the OLI. Too late, but always make sure you note any additional codes that come up when you clear the MM (reset the OLI). Then make sure you also do that extra maintenance as you will not get another reminder until the next time that service is due.

I haven't seen any schedules for the G2 RL pop up yet. Maybe Joe will see this and come up with something. The best I know to do is post a normal service schedule for the G1 RL.

If this were a G1 RL and the first service is at 10k miles, I would expect the following codes:
A16 or B16.

Which means oil and filter change, tire rotation, rear diff fluid change. (for the G1, the first rear diff fluid change should be done by 15k miles, then every 30k thereafter).

Here's the G1 MM chart. How does the G2 MM chart compare? It looks nearly the same to me (only different!)

Here's the 2017 RL MM info:

Have they changed the frequency of the maintenance minder display or does it still bug you at every startup at 10%? Such a pain in my G1 having to reset at every startup. Once every day or two should be good until 5%.
Speedlever, thank you, very much!!! That's exactly what I was hoping for, albeit for the G1. Like you said though, it's likely incredibly similar for the G2. Hopefully the dealership is still willing to perform the other items, like rotating the tires, even though I cleared the code... At least now I have an educated guess at what I need to do.

If I remember right, the reminder would display once per day at 10% and then every startup at 5%, but I could be wrong.
