The thread about naming the NAVI system made me think of this poll. I searched and couldn't find that it's been done before, but maybe it has. Humor me anyway and vote again.

Have you tried both voices? Why do you choose the voice gender you use? Or why do you mute it completely?

Yes.
Because NO woman tells me where to go in MY truck.
I don't. :D

I voted Female earlier and came back later to explain.

Seems like I can hear/understand the Female voice better than the Male one.
Then I got to thinking. Maybe it's because I hear a female voice here around the house that is always telling me what to do that I don't hear or pay attention to also. :D

Just kidding, she's not that really that bad.

Seriously though, I do think the Female voice is clearer.

I love a woman telling me where to go! But I already know how to get down there! :D

We tried the male voice, but neither of us liked it. It was much harder to understand above the XM music that we always listen to while driving.

I've settled on female with minimal prompts because the repetitive prompts were getting on our nerves.
