So I need some suggestions on why my outside air temperature is missing. I am not sure if it's the sensor itself or the lcd display. My ridgeline is a 2009 EXL from Canada.

I was thinking the same thing that possibly the sensor has gone bad but i wasn't sure if the lcd would show Fahrenheit symbol and not the temperature due to the faulty sensor.

It was originally sold as a Canadian vehicle but when it was transferred to the states the odometer was changed from kilometers to miles. How do you do the HVAC test ?

I will do that ! I cleaned the sensor by the front bumper with electrical cleaner but it didn't do anything. I will try the HVAC test.

Have you had the battery disconnected lately? I lost mine for a day or two once after a battery change.

I have not disconnected the battery. I purchased this truck 2 weeks ago. The battery seems fairly new

HVAC from the climate control gave me no errors

There is a sensor test you can do also using the HVAC if memory serves me correctly.
You could also pull and test the sensor w/ a multi-meter.
A new sensor is around $40 usd if it's bad or you could have a bad connection at the lcd panel.

I will try the sensor test as well. Getting that sensor disconnected is a pain

So the climate test showed no errors. My climate control is in Celsius since its from Canada.

If the Climate Test and the Sensor Test showed good, then the problem is between the sensor and the lcd panel.
My guess would be the lcd connection.

So it may be the ambient sensor itself or something is not connected correctly behind the gauge cluster ?

This is gauge cluster test I performed as well. Shouldn't the outside temp lcd be blinking as well ?
