For those of you who don't have the Aux Jack and want a cheap and simple way to connect your MP3 player in the RL I have the solution.

While shopping at Costco I stumbled across this product by Virtual Reality Sound Labs. Its an FM modulator that you can plug in to your MP3 player and it was only $25. I was skeptical until I got home and plugged it in. It sounds as good as my CDs.

The unit offers 7 preset FM channels (87.7, 87.9, 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88.7, 88.9). 88.1 was the best for me no radio interferance.

Anyway a cheap work-around for those who want their MP3 players on the road.

Here's their site: http://www.vr-3.com/vr3_fmmod.html

Those FM transmitters work well in areas without a lot of competing signals on the radio band. However, if you live someplace like SoCal, the tri-state area, or near the borders of Mexico where the Mexican radio stations broadcast beyond the normal power range because the FCC doesn't regulate them, they're not as great.
