I was wondering if anyone here, may have, or know someone with Alpine connections. Alpine has an I Pod adaptor that works with any AI-Net alpine stereo. It runs $100.00 and is sweet, the Ipod screen comes up on the head unit with all the menus you need.
I asked tech sales if it would work with the RL and they did not know... It would be great, since they made the units, if we coiuld buy this, plug it in and go!

it will be awhile til i get mine. if you can call your local entertainment specialist store you may able to ask them if its possible to connect the module the RL unit. I think they can call their alpine agent if its possible to do it. I may have to call the place where i bought my HU and ask him if the unit is possible to connect to the RL HU.

JUst wanted to follow up on this.
Does anyone know if the Alpine KCA-420i iPod adaptor will work with the NAVI unit?
I checked about 2 weeks ago with my stereo shop & they still are waiting for a (plug?) adaptor as to not hack into the wiring harness... they say with all car wiring issues, dealers love to finger point the second anything goes wrong with the car and says to have your stereo shop fix it??
