Navigation Problem

So when i got home from work today, i walked off the train and remote started my RL. I have the Tech package so on the HUD it tells you your tire pressure, your trip A or B, and it has a compass. Well that compass was not working and when i hit maps on the touch screen the navigation wouldent pop up eaither. I ended up pulling over and restarting the truck to get it to start up. Anyone else ever have this problem ever? I love new technology but i hate it for these reasons.

RTL-E with over 6K miles. I come out of the grocery store yesterday, get in, start it up. I'm not paying any attention to the display after I back out of the parking lot - the camera was normal, the audio was on, and I'm just driving. Sometime later, I look at the display (which should have been showing the map), and see "Navigation app stopped. Wait or Off" or something like that. So I touch "Off" and the display goes blank. I hit "Main" and get all the choices (NAV, Phone, Audio, etc etc.) and choose "Navigation." A while later, it shows the same Nav app isn't working message. I choose "wait" this time, but nothing happens - blank screen. Audio is still working. I get home, shut the car off, get the mail, get back in, start it up, and the map is back. This morning, I run and errand and the map is working, but showing the car way off road. As I'm driving, it figures out where the car really is, and all seems well.

Weird... I guess I'll just keep and eye on it for now... BTW, I didn't think to check on the compass in the instrument cluster display...

I hope it's just a little glitch for you guys things like this can happen. I have a 2000 Acura 3.2TL Navi I think owned since new. Nav Technology first single full coverage on single Disc. Climate controls are like fan speed and air flow direction are shared in screen with Navigation & Clock. During life of car there have been a few times that a glitch has come no Nav screen or fan controls on screen blank. Had to restart car and everything normal happen about 5 times in all the years. But car was not functioning for few years and before it was parked would get Nav Disc error every so often on cold mourning at first start-up. It would say on screen see dealer. All I ever did was cycle thru screen and Nav would pop back up. The last few days it would not work at all but I had full use of Climate control fan speeds ect. No Nav info bit had little clock. I went to trunk and ejected Nav disc a few times and everything popped back up as normal.
The 2007 Ridgeline with Nav very similar to one in Acura except climate controls but upgraded version has had little glitches also every now and then.
same with Nav it would not come on in under ground parking garage after being on when parked same with gas station with overhead roof at pumps,
XM radio would go out at ties like this and not come back on until re-start of truck. That cold weather first start up in mourning error Nav screen see dealer on G1 Navi has appeard. Just checked Acura Nav screen is working as normal map display and all sub screens working. Just glitches that happen every now and then for you guys I hope.

Just curious if those having problems updated their Nav system recently.

Nope, no updates. It's on my list to do, but haven't yet. (I'm the guy above with the 6Kmi RTL-E.) There are a couple of screwy things about my maps that I'm curious whether they'll get fixed in an update. For example, it consistently tells me to use a left HOV only entrance/exit on I-90 near Issaquah WA which is great when I have a passenger, but not so good when I'm solo...

Still no updates on this issue, mine is blank also.
