Hi all,

Just got my new Ridgeline on the 26th and put a few hundred miles on it last weekend. Loving the truck so far and already completed an ikea test.

My dealer left the cover for the tailgate lock release in the glove box so it took me a day or two to figure out what it was but I like all the trick features the Ridgeline has. The trunk smell is really strong but I guess that is normal?

Any tips or tricks that you guys like?

I'm pretty sure the odor will go away eventually. Mine has diminished significantly but the half-life on the odor might be longer than I have left.

Congrats!

I got some active charcoal bags on Amazon (like $10 if I recall correctly) and left them in the trunk and it greatly helped with the smell.

The smell will lessen in cooler weather, but will come back somewhat when temps warm again.

Thank you for the list. I ended up ordering the oem tonneau because I didn't want rails in the bed but the rest look great.
Here's a few of my favorite accessories.

I ordered all of the same you listed above minus the tonneau and the mats. I ordered the BAK X4S and I STRONGLY recommend the mats below...there are no better mats on the market and they will protect far better than the OEM mats you ordered.

I also ordered these:

My truck came from the dealer with the oem all season mats already put in so I'll probably use those for a bit but that screen protector is really interesting. I have been debating about the trunk dividers but I'll probably end up getting them.

I have used these screen protectors in all of my vehicles for the past 5+ years and have been very pleased. They help to eliminate finger prints and protect the screen from potential scratches. A cheap way to make a big difference IMPO.

Looked up the 3d Maxpider mats on Amazon but it didn't look like they fit the 2022 RTL-E?

I've noticed that for a lot of items but I don't think there are any major design changes from 2021 to 2022 so maybe they just need to update their database. A lot of parts websites only go up to 2021 as well.

They fit...they just haven't listed the 2022 yet. No different from the 2021.

Welcome and congrats on your truck, @22Silver ! Looks really nice
I have the OEM splash guards and weather mats. The splash guards work pretty well; I have a black truck and have driven on wet muddy roads. The mats are fair. I've had WeatherTech in the past, and they were way better with better carpet coverage.
