New Here but No New Ridgeline Yet

Well been shopping around to replace my F150 and many years of being a F150 owner. I think what the G2 2017 offers fits my needs.
I'm looking at the LX or Sport.I just priced them quickly at one dealer and there price was full MSRP. Also if and when Honda has incentives or rebates typically how much and when do they have them available?
Was there any on remaining 2016s?

Welcome!

At least here, WA state, Honda doesn't quite have the extensive huge discount and incentives as you can find for F150's. You can almost go in to a ford dealership and assume you can get an F150 for 6-10K if not more under their sticker from what I can tell.

That said, we threw out an offer over 4k under sticker for our RTL... and we got it. Other dealers in the area were like, MRSP or higher only. But it was obviously not the case, along with the statement "we are the only dealer in WA with these trucks now". That sales guy must have been unaware that there is this thing called the internet.

And there was no 2016 RL's... 2017 is the new model year if that is what you are asking.

My best advice is to shop around. I called at least 6 dealers before purchasing my vehicle. When you get the dealers to compete you save. Make any offer that you get ,such as kbb or Edmunds or truecar, a starting off point. Be prepared to walk away. Using these tips I managed to get 200 off invoice with free oil changes for life no requirements. Free loaners when I go in for service and free car wash with every service. Good luck, it's a great truck for me.

Hey thanks for the link. Yes your right you can get big discounts from Ford on remaining 2016s and even some discounts on the new 2017s. Sometimes it makes you think if there over inflated sometimes.
I haven't driven the 2017 Ridgeline but drove the new Pilot.
I was asking if they were discounting any left over 2106s.

Did you buy a 2017 and what was the MSRP and the invoice price? Just wandering what the difference was?
They typically make $10k-$15k profit off of the full-size trucks. So, if they discount them $10k, they can still make a healthy profit. From the consumer POV, they think they are getting an awesome deal. It's just the way business is done.

Honda did not make Ridgelines for the 2015-2016 model years. There was a 2 year hiatus from the end of G1 production to the intro of the G2.

I just assumed that it was with the new Pilot 0:)
Picking up the new Ridgeline tomorrow. 2017 Sport Lunar Silver. Got them to run the VIN it has no recalls or TSBs on it.
Not sure of the build date is but taking the plunge. Never seen one yet or drove one yet.:surprise:
