I cannot wait for the Alexander Rossi Ridgeline. :)
Yes. Finally some serious commercials. Thanks Honda.
Well thats more like it. Its not that hard they just did't do it before. People see people start believing...maybe but it can't hurt and its miles ahead from sen 1 days, when it virtually is the same truck just older styling.

However Honda claims it has a more rigid and stronger frame then other trucks as they put it why would it then not be able to handle more towing capacity. The new engine has more torque and better 6 speed transmission. Whats the deal? It should then be able to tow more than 5K. Correct? They seem to be conveniently limiting themselves legally??

Im starting to perhaps believe it can but the sticker says NOO! only 5K please. Sadly insurance goes by that good for nothing decal. :surprise:
I am disappointed towing capacity didn't go up, even to 6000lbs at least..
Those are some great commercials BigBill25. They really show how the Ridgeline stands apart from other trucks in its class. Thanks for posting.
Seelys in my MX pool good rider and young. Just wonder why they didnt get Canard to do the Commercial maybe cause hes a little older been around with Honda longer hangs it out more for Honda but is hurt more. Seelys been takin over Canard, cant wait for the Spring Creek Race.
I give them credit for using a lower trim model in the Seely ad. How often do you see a car company do that?
That first one is awesome, it incorporates a lot of the suggestions that people on this forum had for a Ridgeline commercial --- showed how to use the truck. I also noted that a Juan Ridgeline character was on prominent display, they should center a series of commercials around that family showing them using the truck in all its versatility.

Well done Honda - well done. That will sell a lot of Ridgelines! Glad to see them getting serious about a great product.
And that 2nd commercial is good too, just a bit too short - but it does highlight the motor sports aspect of the Ridgeline and its usefulness to the huge potential market of Honda motorsports folks. Again, well done Honda - well done. Now DOUBLE DOWN and show the truck being used to load motorcycles and ATVs, come up with a good design for an accessory folding ramp and show that the tailgate can take a guy riding right up the ramp into the bed and holding up the bike with a wheel rack on front like the ones that were available for Gen 1. If you show that your truck makes it easy for a guy to load his expensive bike by himself and safely hold it up while strapping down to the stout anchor points in the bed, it would generate considerable enthusiasm and interest.

You should also do a similar commercial for the Home Depot warrior, show a ramp or trailer setup emphasizing use of the Ridgeline for hauling mowers and other power equipment.

And of course, making an offroad Motorsports edition in Honda Red and White would be very well received by some of us too. "Ridgeline Elsinore Edition" for the win!! >:)

Dont see that much any more if any. Honda could be be held for something using a ramp, to bad thats what this country has become nothin but law suits.
And now some Latin American marketing!

Great commercials! Maybe Honda learned their marketing lesson from the G1.

But it does make the soft, girlie styling all the more depressing...:frown: The "look" just doesn't match the attitude.

To me, it's neither sporty nor truck-like. Just kind of ... meh.

Perhaps another lesson from G1.....don't offend anyone with the styling!

It would need rear leaf springs and solid axle to tow more. Sounds like you may need a Tacoma.
I think these commercials are very well done, the last one in Spanish is particularly good. Honda has really upped their advertising game.
This Toyota Hilux commercial from almost a decade ago embarrasses the Ridgeline's dog commercial. :)

impossible. their hooves would just slide on the steering wheel and they would crash. I'm not buying it.
