Just picked up my new Ridgeline RTL-E yesterday. She's modern steel metallic with grey interior.

I paid MSRP with no bs dealer add-ons or treatments. Put a deposit down the same day it was made (4/9) and it was delivered 5/11. So not a bad wait.

I traded in a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and got $2500 over what I owed on it. The Pathfinder was nice, but lacked the modern safety features and ACC. Plus the CVT always worried me.

I spent most of April watching YouTube videos about the Ridgeline and reading
this forum. So thanks for all of the info you gave me.

Congrats on your new Ridgeline. I am also awaiting delivery to CT. Can I ask how long in advance they were able to give you the delivery date? Mine was made last week and all they could tell me is that is "should" be in the first week of June.

I think I got my first delivery date about 10 days after it was made. Original delivery was supposed to be 5/3-5/7. But it was delayed a week while in transit.

Great color combo. I might have wanted that setup but when I got mine I did not have a choice of colors, red or nothing. There was no inventory.
That said the red has grown on me and I really like it now...

I have one just like it, except for your bed cover. Bought mine last August, when Austin dealers didn't even have one on the lot. Ordered it from a San Antonio dealership. Had to pay $1500 over MSRP. Waited only a few days. But I had previously had a lease car, which I turned in when it was due and managed to negotiate a $4500 buyout from a local dealer. That's how hungry they were for used cars to put on their lots. So, in the end, came out OK money wise, if that is possible anymore.

I love the truck. The comfortable ride plus all the RTL-E features make it a great truck for someone who is too old to enjoy banging around in a truck anymore. I would like for the computer to be faster and the interface/touchscreen need upgrading, IMO. Also wish I had a button to fold the mirrors. Those would be my only (minor) complaints. Started wanted one of these trucks in 2020 but glad I waited for the new styling in '21.

Sounds like you got a decent deal, considering the buyout.

I agree about the power folding mirrors. Mine fits in my garage with about an inch to spare on each side. It's an "electronics" trim level. Not sure why they don't offer it.

I don’t mind manually folding the driver mirror at the bank drive through but it’s a hassle to have to get out to fold the passenger mirror at the car wash. Is weird they did not include that on the “E” level. I’d trade bed music for auto-folding mirrors. (I doubt the the bed music will actually attract the millennials they are probably looking for.)

Wouldn’t you live to show this conversation to a covered-wagon pioneer?
