:act006: Glad to join this fandango. Got lucky and found a relatively easy/cheap repair for a problem mentioned by a few members, so took advantage of the timing to join the club and here we go.
If your Ridgeline hood release cable isn't broke..... here's how NOT to break the handle/knob/gripper thing. When you grip it to release the hood, pull it straight out, don't pull the bottom of the handle out/upward as if it were hinged at the top. It is quite easy to snap off, and can be expensive and a pain to repair.
But if you do break it, check my other post today, for an $.11 (11 cent) repair. Takes a few minutes. I'm kind of proud of it, you will see.
