I am selling all four Tires and Rims (OEM Alloy) with TPMS sensors still on the rims.
Tire Mileage was at 2768 before removing them from Ridgeline.
All Tires are filled with nitrogen.

Asking price for each Tire and Rim is $150.00
Shipping is estimated at $100.00

PM me if you are interested. Limited time before it goes to ebay.

Dang, that is tempting. One would be nice for a full size spare.

Shipping is a killer and I just looked and can't drive there and pick them up unless my RL floats.

I presume you dont want to break the set and sell one?

Nitrogen is a dry, inert gas used to inflate airplane tires, off-road trucks and race cars, especially NASCAR cars.

Race car drivers use it to keep tire pressure constant. Nitrogen doesn't expand like atmospheric air does.

Interesting things here on Google regarding increased gas mileage, tire longgevity etc, etc.

...but normal atmospheric air is 80% nitrogen

100% nitrogen DOES still conform to the laws of physics and thus tire pressure will still change over varing temps although a bit differently than air that contains significant moisture.

Yes, nitrogen filled tires won't dry rot from the inside but unless you are driving your RL is a 100% nitrogen bubble and only at night (no UV sunlight) you won't get any benefit.

Snake oil for sure with ONE exception: Sometime it is easier to fill a tire with a nitrogen cylinder than with a compressor (out in the woods for example).

I think the main reason nitrogen is used is because it has a lower coefficient of linear expansion and the pressure doesn't vary as much between cold and hot tires.

Well said. Thats exactly why NASCAR owner/crews use nitrogen. Ive seen them come in for a pit stop and change tire pressure for performance by only 1 or 2 pounds and they want it to STAY at that pressure. Sure it will expand some but not as much as plain old atmospheric air. I dont think NASCAR believes in snake oil ideas.

The other Snake Oil reasons as Whaleya stated are likely true also. Your tires are going to rot from the oustside in and as far as better gas mileage, that is what I'm trying to find info on.

I was born at night but not last night. :D

P.S. Also see "mephitic air' here:http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0KJI/is_2_115/ai_97872906 Very interesting reading.

For anyone hesitating the list price for the tire and wheel setup that he is selling is $461.30 each (and that is without mounting and balancing)
