Hello!

Just got my RTL-E and I have not had AWD in a vehicle since I moved to Cali.

Where is your most fun off road in the LA/Orange Co areas? Keep in mind I do not have a skid plate yet so please no places where I will have to stop every 100 feet and move rocks or build ramps, etc. to get by

I am actually thinking more like beaches, etc...being Cali and all.

Nothing more sad than a truck all clean with no work to do...I have already hauled a load of junk out to be dumped that had been sitting here for a year (telling my wife "if only I had a truck to haul all this away")....

Thanks.

Angeles forest. A few truck trails up there. Probably best to find a guide book of the area. But a lot of stuff will be down here in san diego and imperial countys. Anza borrego, ocotillo wells. etc

I have been meaning to get a book on Big bear. I thought most of the trails were rock crawling... Any off the top of your head that's ridge friendly?
Look these up on Trailsoffroad.com Rim Of the world (Coxey Road) 3N14, and Holcomb Valley 3N16, 3N34 East, There are many up there.
