Nope, I've not seen anything like that. And no one has reported problems with the awd system either based on that idea.
Remember the front differential is actually an open diff. So no problem there. The rear diff is a controlled unit by electronics so no viscous couplings there to cause problems. So, not a problem in my book.

No combination of new and bald tires of the same size will damage the vehicle's drive system. There are merits to maintaining similar tread depths - at least from side to side, but the Ridgeline's drive system won't be mechanically damaged if you don't.
