Todd and I took advantage of a partly sunny day yesterday and took Ridgena for a little spin around Ohio.
The colors aren't as vibrant right now as they usually are this time of year. I'll try again this weekend.

Picture 1. A buck who decided to jump out in front of us while following a group of young ladies. This is about 1/4 mile from our house.

Picture 2. We stopped along side the road and poor Lacie had to stay behind.

Picture 3. We stopped at a small park with a stream running by and I stradled this fence to get this shot.

Picture 4. Still a bit green but still beautiful Ohio.

VERY nice pix lr, thanx for sharing and I like the graphics on your truck! Watch out for more deer encounters too, they are most active at this time of year (I think there was another thread on this somewhere).
WOw! Ohio's really nice. We've got to drive pretty far to get these kinds of views. Love the feather graphics too! Very cool.:D
Very nice pictures!! I like the last one...very professional like:) Have a very nice day(was what I meant):D
Very nice JC! You are very fortunate to live so close to such splendor. I can almost smell the "fall outdoor woods" scent.
We're finally having fall weather, after all the rain, here in CT. The leaves are turning rapidly. We're forcasted for rain or snow this Wed.:(
The pictures are great. Also, that SILVER Ridgeline of yours is looking mighty fine!
Very nice pictures!

I would take pictures of our scenery, but my hubby lost our digital camera

Just an excuse for us to get a new one!

The deer are quite active this time of year. Hunting season starts here the first week of November. We have to post the area around our house or we get a lot of bozos trying to cut across our property to get to our ravine. idiots. There are tons of places to go hunting without going across my land.
Outstanding pictures of the Ohio country side! One question...Did you hit a big bird with all those flying features? :D

Yeah..and he was big and yellow til we tarred and DE-feathered him!! :D
Beautiful neighborhood -- just a quarter mile from your house? Makes me even more anxious to get out of the 'burbs and away from the SF Bay Area.
You've got some beautiful fall colors going on there, Ladyridge. One of the few things I miss about the midwest. We don't have the early cold snaps here to get the leaves turning as well and we all have a lot of coniferous forest.

I'll be happy to send you a few hundred bags of leaves from the front and back 40 as soon as Drew rakes them! :D
It is beautiful.
Tell Drew he can just leave mine in the yard, but thanks for the offer. There is a limit to just how much you can miss things.

And I thought they were Buzzard feathers. ;)
