Picked up my 2017 RTL-T yesterday

After test driving everything I could find I had narrowed my choices down to the Chevy/GMC Canyon and the Ridgeline. I finally got to drive one yesterday and bought it on the spot. The first one the dealer sold. It just seems SO much better than everything else I looked at. I was looking for more SUV than truck so this fits my needs perfect. It handles better, is quieter, has better fuel mileage and has that crazy bed trunk that is perfect for my golf clubs.

Drove it a little last night and the smile is still on my face this morning.

Welcome and congrats!
Looks nice! Congratulations. That blue reminds me of my 2004 Pilot. Looks so much better on the RL.
The blue is really nice, it really stands out. Not to dark that you think it's black and not too light that it's glaring
I've heard a lot of comments about the back door opening, but it seems pretty good to me. I didn't have a G1 but I have no issues at all climbing back there as a passenger

$623.00 over MSRP!!!
+319.95 "maintenance"
+22.40 tax on "maintenance"
+649.00 junk fee!!! ("dealer administrative processing fee" - pure profit)

Ouch. That hurts. Bad.

That was a horrible deal, but congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the ROC. It's just money and we can't take it with us, right? :D

EDIT: Wait... Did you get a 2WD or AWD? If AWD then you didn't get screwed quite as bad. :)
Jeff,

Congrats on your G2 Ridgeline and welcome to the ROC!

I keep a change of clothes, golf clubs and pull cart in my G1-RL trunk incase of good weather and a light work schedule :) Unfortunately, the G1 trunk is just a bit too short for my driver, so I take it out of the bag and store it diagonally on top of everything else. I would love to see how your clubs fit in the trunk of your G2.

Congrats!!! I bought the exact same truck in Lincoln, NE on June 20. I am still smiling as well
Congrats! I drove the exact same and really liked it. I wanted an E and could not find a blue one anywhere and not much hope of one anytime soon so opted for the Modern Steel. Got a very good deal for a truck this new and a pretty high VIN to boot so I am happy. Should be in next week.

Post your VIN range on my VIN poll... second page of forum....

Coolbob.... Same issue with my clubs in the trunk. Have to pull out woods and lay them on top of my bag in my Gen II. Bag with woods fit nicely under the rear seats which is where I'll be keeping them.

Enough already, dad. We get it: anyone who pays anything within $2,000 of MSRP is a fool and those at or above (MSRP) are raging imbeciles. Point conceded. I don't know why you feel compelled to tirelessly plant your critical flag on everyone's purchase but I can tell you with 100% certainty that I and others have tired of it. Get over yourself. OP: very nice-- I darn near nailed a blue one but it was an RTL and I just had to spring for the RTL-T too. Enjoy. James

A very nice looking truck, congrats to OP. You will get many years of good service from it!
Have not seen the "T" yet, see the dealer in Huntsville AL has one in his inventory. Going to Huntsville early next week for the monthly COSTCO trip and will check it out.
Wow, 3% tax... it's 13% here!

congrats on the new wheels
3% sounds high to me...no sales or income tax in NH..!

Nice truck - congrats!
Thanks, good to know clubs will fit in the G2 trunk! Under the seat is not really an option for me, that space is dedicated to other toys. Plus I've tossed my head covers in a closet since my photo was taken and the sound of rattling clubs is almost as annoying as a squeaky styrofoam cooler to my ears. :)
