Picked up My Silver RTL

:) Well, I finally purchased a Silver RTL/w Nav. I got a few options installed like roof rack, bed extender, fog lights and trailer package. All look pretty good with no water leaks and wind noise.

I was holding out for a blue with Nav, but decided to take the silver since
it was just off the delivery truck with a vin of 524000+.

I have been monitoring everyone's comments before, during and after the purchase of my RTL. I would like to thank everyone for the helpful information, and what to look out for during the purchase and after options installed.

The only issue I found so far, is the dealer tried to install a green interior fog light switch, instead of gray. I caught that before I left, the dealer and they replaced right away.

Hopefully I got a pretty good deal, 32,895 out the door plus 1600 in options. I got the fog lights for standard cost during the negotiations.
When I can afford it, I will add more options later.

I traded in my 2002 Avalanche. Good vehicle, but too many recalls and a gas hog. The RT handling and ride, are way ahead of GM.

This is my first Honda, hopefully the quality is pretty good.

Again, thanks for all the help everyone.

Allow me to be the first congratulate you. GO SILVER!! :D
Welcome to the ROC Monkeytx, we're glad you're here.
So..you traded an Avalanche?? Wow. Do you know how many bad looks and gestures I get from people in those things?? I just smile and wave back 'cause I figure they are just jealous of me!! ;)
Anyway..welcome to the family and I KNOW you will enjoy the ride!!
Welcome aboard Monkeytx! Since you are a former Avalanche owner, how about posting a short list of things that you like and dislike about each vehicle after you have lived with the Ridgeline for a few weeks. You perspective would be very interesting. If Honda had to pay for that kind of consumer research it would cost a fortune and one would question how impartial it would be.

Once again, Welcome!
Ladyridge and I both happen to think Silver IS the best color. Good for you! Sounds like you got a sweeyheart of a deal.
Drive it in good health
Hope you kept the Ava bedmat. Perfect fit for the RL. ;)

Yeah?? Don't listen to this guy. Buy all new for that girl. She deserves to lug something better than a GM product around in bed....don't ya think!!?? ;)
Should be adequate for a Silver. :p

good come back artee!!:D
After an ambulance ride to 24 hrs in ER and 48 hrs in CCU, I still got it. :D
Welcome aboard! JulesK and LadyRidge are not the only ones who think silver is better - I do too! My brother has a big 4X4 Avalanche and although it is a pretty stout truck, I would not have it in place of my Ridgeline. Almost forgot to mention that there was a poll here not long ago and I think the Silver color ran away with it as the most popular color of all.
:) Thanks for the Welcome to ROC.

I find myself going outside at night and sitting in the new RL, trying out all the features. Still working on the Nav programs and listening to the
XM radio. I was amazed that you could put the key in the door and roll all the windows down or up. Also down with the key fob. Sure helps during this heat wave in central Texas, to cool down the truck.

After a few weeks, as requested by Ultra-Hog, I will provide an update on the likes and dislikes between the Avalanche and the RTL/S w/Nav.

Arteegee, I would of kept the Avalanche Bedmat, but I had some water stains in the back of the Avlanche the bed cover, covered up. The Avalanche had a tendency to collect water below the mat, which had to be cleaned out quite often to protect the black paint job and prevent rusting.

Anyway, I am sure some accessory vendor will come up with a rubber bedmat for the ridgeline soon.

Thanks again for the welcome
Emjoy that new truck, monkeytx. ;)

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED????? :(
Congrats and welcome. I won't hold it against you for not waiting for the Blue. Silver was our second choice and if it had been available with NAV we probably would have bought it too. Since we had to order it in we went for our first choice in color. Waiting that month for it to get here was very hard.
