Has anyone ever tried using plasti dip as a cheap DIY bed liner? Its just an idea I have, but I have no experience with it to know if it will hold up.

The fact that it peels off so easily for removal tells me it's ruled out on that count alone.

I am going to be trying the Rustoleum Truck bed coating someday soon which is like $7 a can and is more durable than plasti dip and almost at the same price. Maybe you can go that way.

ya I have heard good things about Line x and Durabak. Dnick has a good point Cheaper paints tend to peel easily and can barely withstand a small carrying load without roughing up the paint a little bit. It gets worse if you live in hot/humid climate.
