I'm suspicious of the rear axle bar section that's directly attached to wheel on either side. I'll spare you the details why. When I grab bar (either wheel side) with my hand I feel about a 1/4 inch of play (wobble). The same bars connected to front wheels have no play at all and they have to swing with steering. Two questions...
1) Would this be normal?
2) Silly but does anyone feel up to testing their rear bars and let me know if any play is felt?

Thanks in advance for any input you may have, CB

I think you're talking about the rear halfshafts - they drive the rear wheels... if so, mine are loose too, I can move them in/out a little bit

They have to move in and out of the differential (become longer & shorter) as you put load in the box or go over bumps. It's normal.

Same reason the propeller shaft has a spline hidden in the middle to allow changes in length.
