Hey guys I have a question that I am not sure if someone on here has already asked. I would have searched but it is a strange question and I wasnt sure how I would find the answer. For those of you that have a Ridgeline SE can you tell me if there is any material of any sort between your grille and the AC condenser/radiator? I recently added a SE grille to my 09 RTL and the condenser is exposed and I would think it could take a rock rather easily. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No. would block air flow to the condenser. I doubt anything big enough to do damage would make it in there. You could put some of that small diamond metal mesh and paint it black if you are worried.

Agreed you would not want to restrict the airflow. I am thinking maybe there is a mesh barrier of some sort in place on the SE. The honeycomb pattern on this grille leaves alot of space for something to be able to penetrate the coils.
