Are there any mods needed to install this? I thought I read somewhere that because of the over the rail bedliner, there were things that needed to be done.

Also, is there really a gas savings?

Thanks!

you have to remove the tie down anchors on the top part of the bed closest to the cab. otherwise, it's bolt-on. SilverRidge08 installed mine in about six minutes flat. I don't think that there is really any significant gas savings. maybe slight, but i haven't tried calculating.

I would say it's 95% water tight. you get some light water in there in bad storms while driving, but nothing that would prevent me from putting something in there like a suitcase.

Very happy with mine so far :)

EDIT: for clarification, the entire thing is bolt on. you remove the tie down anchors and use the bolt holes. no drilling or anything of the sort. Easily can return to stock.
