I'll wait for the Weathertech ones that don't have an adhesive tape that sticks to the paint. I have had good luck with the Weathertech and they look like they are a integral part of the door, not a add on.

The ones I had on my 2004 4runner where awesome! The in-channel design held up great.

I have also used WeatherTech door visors and like them a lot. But, the '17 Ridgeline has small non opening vent windows in the front doors. Not possible for in-channel visors to either extend to cover them or?

For that reason I bought Honda door visors (online dealer). They fit pretty close to the doors, some wind noise on the highway (depending upon the wind direction and speed). They look really good, stick on to the chrome strip at the top of the doors, have a similar chrome strip on the visors, and extend down over the "vents."

I just searched lund's website today and they show a hood deflector and a set of vent visors that they make. No prices and no retailer shows them yet.

The vent visors are in channel ones. I am worried they are going to create wind noise. Had a set on a Mazda b4000 once and it was really bad.

I think I am going to hold out until I can get the stick on ones.

The in channel ones from WeatherTech that I had never made any noticeable wind noise.

I am thinking of getting it too... but now sure how easy to install it yourself...anyone tried that before?

I bought the OEM's because I need to stay dry while Weathertech figures it out. My dealer installed them for me free, but I did pay full whack for the parts.

That link in the previous post by JJ13 looks just like weathertech, and priced way better too.

Has anyone tried these other rain guards yet and are you guys with the OEM ones still happy with them and do they work properly? My trucks got moisture on it every morning and it's killing me not to be able to open the windows on my drive because of the dripping.

I can report that the OEM's work perfectly. We've had a lot more rain than usual and everything is perfect. They do not whistle (unless I haven't experienced the perfect wind direction vs. speed scenario)

I think they look good, are sturdy and have not even budged in the car wash.

I'm a die-hard weathertech floor mat and window visor customer, I couldn't wait for the visors with all this rain. I'll wait till the snow flies on the mats.

I grade them A+

The couple sites I have found that offer the AVS ones still don't have them available for purchase yet. Not sure if there is a distributor that has these on their shelves ready to ship yet.

Thanks for the responses guys and now I have to convince myself to spend the money on the OEMS since the aftermarket promises to be half the price.

I got the OEM ones from the wife as a birthday present. They installed pretty easy and look great. I haven't noticed any added noise, but I do have the factory roof rack and bars so my RL isn't totally quiet.

Found the same ones on CarId and if they are telling the truth its n stock. I ordered them and will let you know how it goes.

AVS® 194276 - Honda Ridgeline 2017 In-Channel Ventvisor? Smoke Front and Rear Window Deflectors

I installed OEM when I picked my picked up my new RTL. 2010. Honda has spent lots of money on designing their parts, which is why most of time they cost more. I have have yet to have one come loose. The only thing I have had to do this weekend matter of fact is to take some plastic polishing compound (Meguiar's Plastx). To make them shine again. Every aftermarket one I have used in the past on other cars have either broken because the plastic is so thin, or blown off or became loose because of the way they were attached.
After 6 years of CT winters and ice and snow removal they are rock solid.

Buy the OEM Honda or wait for the Weathertech's, the quality of the AVS brand doesn't come close.
