Rear Climate Control Settings

How do you set the rear temp & fan settings differently than the front? I know the rear will match the front using the sync function. I can see the rear settings on the front control panel but that's it. The owner's manual talks about a rear climate control panel but my BE doesn't have one. What am I missing?

Good questions but wouldn't that middle seating position just be considered the same as the other outboard seat. When you flip that side up it's all one seat. I wondered about this also nice features they get.
That would make sense given the 60/40 split bench seat.
Made me go out in the cold and check. The perforated sections of the rear seats only heat. The centre section is solid leather and does not heat. So, only the outboard rear seats heat and that heat is isolated to the perforated leather sections of each seat.

Thanks for checking.
page 181 in the owner's manual stated that the center rear is NOT heated ! :nerd:

an after thought... I have the OEM rear seats cover... it basically defeat the purpose of the heated seats... normally it's just barely enough..now an extra thick layer of material on top...not a chance...it will just put a strain on the whole system..etc.

I got a dog...so, basically just give up that feature usage, choosing to upkeep the interior instead... ( never had the need for this feature in the past...kinda like luxury...nice to have, but rarely used...etc. )

Great information everyone. Thank you!

Are there any northern brothers or sisters that have a 2017 Ridgeline Sport? If so, can you tell me if there's a rear climate control panel at the back of the center console? If so, what does it look like?

I have the Sport and it doesn't have rear seat climate controls, the rear climate can only be controlled by the front panel.

Okay, thanks!
So are those little cubbies under the vents usable for anything or just space fillers?

That's a good question! Haven't spent a lot of time in the back seat, but so far they just seem to be space fillers. I'm not sure what you could use them for.
Are any of our Canadian brothers and sisters interested in helping out with the Wikipedia article on the Ridgeline? If so, I'm still in need of a picture of the rear-seat climate control system on the upper trims of the Canadian Gen2. The picture "dingmah" has did not work out. If anyone is willing to take a picture of this control panel and is willing to formally authorized Wikipedia to use your photo, it would really help.

Instructions on what to do can be found here: http://www.ridgelineownersclub.com/...lery/159786-g2-pics-needed-2.html#post2356681

No! Those are not just space fillers! I changed my rear dome/reading light bulbs to LED and the top cubby was the PERFECT place to put the factory bulbs instead of throwing them away! 2k miles later they're still happily rattling around in there. Lol

EDIT: Uh oh. I went to check on them and one is missing.

All I can get on my 2022 rtle is low ac from the rear setting on. No idea how to get it higher
Push the SYNC button or press the RR SETTINGS button then adjust the rear temperature using the temperature lever.
