i was just measuring the bed this morning for storage bins, and I realized I can put back my rear upper hold downs on top of the rear brackets for the OEM Tonneau. There should be no issues with getting to the rear release pulls. Anyone keep them? I think ill put mine back on later today if the bolts seem long enough.

I just installed the tonneau yesterday and did exactly what you are asking about. The bolts are long enough, no issues here to report. Go ahead put them back in.

Thanks, i will also try to figure our a place to install the OTHER 2 mounts that were takeoffs from the front.....maybe somewhere MID/BED

Note: It does say not to do this in the instructions. If I were going to do it, I'd look for four Torx T50 bolts that are 5 mm longer. I believe the original bolts are 8 x 30. Just a thought.
