Compass
is it showing N or S, or only C? Maybe you need to do compass reset procedure
Was this ever answered? I have a C on my mirror now after picking up my truck from the shop after a fender bender.
The "C" typically means that the mirror needs to be calibrated. Find yourself a large parking lot and drive in a tight circle three to four times in a row in the same direction and that should restore the compass for you.

Thanks, it did go away last night when I was driving around. But here's the thing. I have a 2013 Sport so have the rear view cam and not the compass. Maybe the compass is still in here but just disabled for the cam.
You guys had me worried I thought it was some demon possessed rear view mirror. I have the factory auto dim mirror in my Acura 3.2 TL. Car was about 3yrs old at time and on Acura forum few had reported that mirror got clouded or dark. Also fluid was leaking from mirror and warning not to touch this fluid this was not widespread at that time. So I go out one day and mirror is distorted. This fluid had leaked out and dripped down on trim parts of dash and gear shifter area. This fluid stuff started to eat the plastic I took it to dealer they replaced mirror under warranty and ordered new trim parts. I along with others part out the warning not to touch leaking fluid with your bare hands.
I just picked up a 2013 Sport, it also shows C only and has a back Up camera. no luck recalibrating thus far...
