Understand your frustrations MCS.... but if you step back a bit, you might consider who else is offering ANY kind of rental vehicle while they await resolution of this Takata airbag fiasco.

You might be enlightened by some reading in that other thread referred above. But if you really think you want a FiatChrylserJeep vehicle, you ought to go buy one. See how quickly they handle their recalls when they come around..... I'm just sayin'.

Be careful what you wish for. It's easy to throw stones from where we sit.

Well, let's see... my 2012 BMW M3 was recalled and I was given a new M5 to drive while waiting.
..........
I get your point, but after all this is a Honda, not a BMW. Last I looked, Honda's profit margins are about 3-5% of sales, while BMW's are about 6-8%. You pay for more "accommodation" with higher end vehicles.
If you drove a Rolls, they might coif your poodle while they chauffeured you to the opera while your car was getting fixed.

I do understand what you're saying about it all.... but this is a nightmare for Honda, and Monday morning quarterbacking their no-win situation & tough decision making is just a cheap shot IMO.
Complaints about numb-nuts dealers dodging their responsibilities I can get behind big time, but second guessing Honda's corporate strategy & commitment to customers is just too easy to do when you don't have to walk in those shoes. I respect your opinion, just don't agree with it.
