Oops, I ignored my 2 calls from my dealer over the past 2 weeks thinking it was a general reminder call for service. I finally called back today and found out they were calling about the airbag recall. Now the part is on national backorder and they have no idea how long it will take to get in. You snooze, you lose.

The service advisor told me the recall only affects the driver's side inflator. I read in another post the passenger side is also affected. For those of you who had the recall done, was it just the driver's side or both sides?
Only driver's side for me.......

If you check back in this (or other?) thread, you'll find a Honda link that you can check for yourself by entering your VIN. If it's covered (most likely is), then take that with you to the dealer when you go in.

Hey, H&A, your chart shows 2006 Ridgeline Passenger Side, where can I check if my Passenger Side is necessary. I questioned it when the drivers side was being done and they insisted it wasn't necessary.

Is this the best place to check?

Admin's once we have a known location to check can we make this thread a sticky?
Interesting that when you read the recalls for 2006 Ridgeline, the Driver's side applies to all 2006 (it appears), while the passenger's side recall is defined as still being limited to states with high humidity (listed in recall definition text). ALSO note that there are TWO passenger side recalls for those high-humidity states; one for the frontal passenger side, and one for the "side" airbag on the passenger side. So three airbags total for those humid states.

The above info shows when you query 2006 Ridgeline generically (w/o VIN).
