Greetings,

Have an '08 RTS that I bought with the stock roof rack already installed. Plan on doing some off-road riding and towing dirt bikes this summer. Curious if anyone has recommendations for a cargo box? Especially a brand and model that's not crazy expensive?

Unfortunately for a plastic box they are quite expensive.

Here is my Ridgeline with my motorcycle in the bed and my ski box on the roof.

When I put the box on I figured it would stick back and hit the bikes windshield, so I offset the bike to one side,, and the box to the other.

But it would just fit with my bike without the offset. My box is designed to carry skis. Thule Accent 1100 I believe from a few years ago. If your not planning on carrying skis the make ones that are shorter in length, to give you more room for the bikes.

$289.95 is not actually a bad price, for how much that will hold... Look around and see if you can find some other brands. Thule is what I am familiar with, as that is what I sell.

Does it HAVE to be a cargo box, or would you settle for mesh material? I'm pretty sure it'll be cheaper. Just make sure it's waterproof. Probably easier to store also. They're reasonably priced. Just look around.

Nice setup! Good idea about the Thule, only challenge could be the height of my motorcycle gear bags, but worth checking out. Thanks.

Interesting, never heard of this product line before. Thanks for the link. I've been thinking hard case, but like the idea of a lower price and being compact for garage storage.
