You could consider going to brake calipers and rotors from an 09-14 pilot. Direct bolt up (with the brackets) providing larger diameter rotors and greater pad surface area. Search the subject if you like.

The Pilot was a new model in 09. It's brakes were all part of the new design. . . .The Ridgline, on the other hand, was using 05 spec stuff when it debuted and was only selectively updated by Honda over its 10 year life span. The brakes were not updated and are essentially unchanged. . .

Basically the Ridge's brakes are smaller because they are an older design.
