I was hoping those that have removed the tweeter cover could provide a pointer or two on where the clips are on the cover. I don't want to break it. :)

I've got tweeter rattle and wanna fit it.

Cover rattle thread

thanks!

Just put your finger nail under the edge and pull. No clips, just some ridges as part of the cover. You'll encounter very little resistance.
:)
Thanks Desert Ridge. I have also just started having vibration issues with the drivers side dash speaker cover. I am going to investigate this tonight. This is the first issue I've had with the truck and it seems like a very easy fix. :D
I have the same thing. Drivers side Tweeter. Driving me nuts. Must fix. I was thinking of maybe a SMALL piece of velcroe
I stuffed a paper towel in there general area this AM on the way to work.
shingles. too have that durn rattle. passenger side on mine.............if you remove the cover and put back on, how are you going to prevent the rattle?
I did some testing, I think the rattle could come from one of two sources on that cover.
1) it is hitting up against the glass
or
2) the cover is hitting the dash itself.

Well I guess the 3rd option is 1 and 2.

I plan on buying self attaching felt tape or something similar and stick them on the under side of the cover as well as the side where it is close to the windshield. I think this should help the problem.

the tape would need to be pretty thin right?
Most of the stuff I've seen right now aren't very thick. My plan is to basically make it so that there would be no two hard surfaces contacting each other.
