Anyone with a Roll-N-Lock know how much bed space the housing consumes? Has anyone tried hauling a motorcycle (dirt bike such as YZ, RM, CR, KX, etc) with a Roll-N-Lock installed?

Once the Roll-N-Lock is installed, how difficult is it to remove if you need to use all 60 inches of the bed space?

Thanks,

I do not own a dirt bike so cannot help there. However, here are the dimensions after the Roll-N-Lock is installed on a 2008:

1. Size of storage housing at front of bed - Distance from rear window to back edge with cover closed - 12 inches
2. Distance of opening between opened cover and inside of closed tailgate:
A. Taken perpendicular to tailgate - 45 inches
B. Diagonally from corner to corner – 64 inches
3. Vertical clearance inside with cover closed: In the front just rear of the storage housing it is 16 inches and slopes down to 15 inches just in front of tailgate. Under the housing it is a lot less.

I have not done it myself, but looking at the instructions, I do not think it would be very easy to take the cover off and put it back on.

You should also note that the Forward Upper Tie Down Brackets have to be removed and are not reinstalled.
