I installed aftermarket kenwood unit with an adapter in my Chevy SSR, OEM headunit plays sirius just as it would have with factory XM. Was wondering if anyone has tried it with the ridgeline yet? If so what adapter unit / hardware is needed? :)

I have JVC PnP Sirius tuner. I first tried using the built in FM translitter, but the sound quality was terrible. You can use an aux audio adaptor from Soundgate, the SnHond 3. You can get it at logjamelectronics.com. Works great, plugs right into the stock radio, and gives you RCA inputs. I would reccomend using a GLI (ground loop isolator), because of the alternator noise. The adaptor only works WITHOUT the factory XM.............
