That's great mileage. Stock truck?
Going 80 in a RL isn't a recipe for 20 plus mpg.Wow!
I get 17 if I'm lucky. That is almost all highway, but at 80mph usually.

I'm trying to understand how this works. Oversized tires typically make the speedo read low and FE to decrease resulting in lower mpgs. Also, perceived power should be adversely affected with oversized tires (effectively lowers the final drive ratio).Running on super, oversized tires and 2" lift. Manual calculation confirmed the trip meter was spot on. (With the new tires, the speedo is actually almost perfect now).
Ricer metric math.I'm trying to understand how this works. Oversized tires typically make the speedo read low and FE to decrease resulting in lower mpgs. Also, perceived power should be adversely affected with oversized tires (effectively lowers the final drive ratio).
So how did you determine the oversized tires make the speedo read right?
