I had a flat then a friend put the spare on for me. When the flat was fixed, the spare was loaded back into the tray (I wasn't there when it was done). However, later I noticed that the tool tray which was always in the tire "hole" did not fit inside with the spare anymore. I thought the tire was just put in wrong (maybe upside down - otherwise the tool set won't fit at all), so I took the spare out and flipped it, but that didn't work either. The spare would not sit right with the "hole side" facing up, it keep spinning around and wouldn't lock down. It would only fit facing down, but the tool set won't fit inside (tools set sits separately in the truck bed trunk). The next time I went to my Honda dealer for service, I asked them to lock the spare & tool set and they either didn't do it or didn't know what I was talking about. How can I explain this so they'll understand or do this myself? Anyone know what I'm talking about?
