To dull down the bright red Start button did the following:
1. Masked extremely well covering everything around the Start button.
Note: Masked just around the annular silver circle surrounding the button.
2. Sprayed PlastiDip Smoke on the button in light coats.
3. Applied 10 light coats at 30 minuted intervals.
Note: Applied 5 the first day and wanted darker so 5 the next day.
Big improvement. Pics will give an idea of the masking and setup.
Photos may not show correctly. Give it a try if you think it will work. My second set of coats on now so will see if can upload photos tomorrow. I was happy with first results. The key is patience, many light coats. I kept door open for fumes but just closing and opening door you will see blinking white start button to gauge the affect.

Just picked up my E last night and have a question regarding the back seat lights. When I have the lights set to "door", they don't turn off- whether driving or engine off. I have to set the lights to off to get them to turn off. All other lights work as expected once doors are closed. I...
In the year Ive had my Ridgeline, ive been blinded many times by the gloss black trim that goes along the dash and around cupholder area. I have no idea why they would choose something so reflective to put in the interior.
Has anyone had the same problems? Has anyone done anything to...
Not for everyone, but...Just picked up a couple of cotton/linen seat "pads" for my new truck (ebay $20 for both). The red & black looks pretty darn good with the interior, but, hey, that could be just in the eyes of the beholder (me), lol. I'm prone to getting the seats a tad dirty, and thought...
Hey guys. I have always used weather tech Mats in my previous car but found them too expensive and overrated. I wanted to try another brand so I tried husky liners and damn they are nice. Anyone have experience with these? What are your thoughts?
I personally like how they have this custom...
I just got my new 2019 RTL-T and noticed that the front doors have red reflectors rather than lights. I was going to replace interior lights with LEDs like I did with my previous Ridgeline and I was sure the doors had lights in them.
Anyone have instructions for changeover and recommendation...
