I need to mount a Brake controller. I prefer a stealthier look. Does any one have any suggestions?

In my 2017 RL, my Tekonsha Primus brake controller is installed in the location as shown in the post #3 link.

How is it attached at that location? Did you drill through the back for the wires?
I installed a redarc in mine. Not sure under the dash is identical to my 21 but I had a blank block off plate by my left knee, so I popped that out and cut drilled it to accept the adjustment knob/manual activation button.

The box itself I used some 3m double sided foam tape (same stuff used to hold badges on the exterior) and mounted it underneath the dash.

Just make sure it's mounted securely.

I originally mounted the brake controller’s bracket with double sided tape but later supplemented that with two small screws. There is no need to drill a hole for wiring as the wire harness can be routed through and hidden in the existing gaps.
