I just picked up my new 2018 Ridgeline yesterday and flipped down the sunglass holder and was like what is this curved mirror thingy. However my prescription sunglasses did fit, but not as nicely as in my 2006 Ridgeline. The curved mirror thingy must've been an idea by a guy who was mandated to put one more feature in the truck. A rear seat conversation mirror. I suppose since the truck pretty much drives itself you can spend more time having conversations with people in the back seat.
