Last October, the IRS changed the huge SUV tax loophole where you could write off up to $105K the first year. You can currently write off $25K the first year but that may be soon reduced to $3K.

The SUV/Truck must have a GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of 6000 lbs or greater. The Ridgeline's GVWR is 6050 lbs, so it qualifies.

Not according to my CPA. He looked into everything that was claimed in the article (link in first post) and he found that the article was accurate.
